Anyone got a policy from Photoguard recently or could try it out for me please? Was hoping to renew over the weekend.

I would phone them, but their helpline is shut till Monday.

I basically noticed they have added an option of UK+20days worldwide (per period of insurance - not per trip, as I understand it), which should suit me as I rarely travel abroad for more than 3 weeks a year.

Even if I did, how would they know??

But when I get a quick quote, and select UK+20days worldwide on the "Customise your quote" page, the "instant quote indicator" shows a cross next to EU coverage and Worldwide coverage.

Possibly just a bug in their site, but if anyone gone through the process recently, that would be useful to know.

I looked and the EU coverage and Worlwide is only ticked when you select something other than the basic.

Actually their prices have got better than they were 6 months ago, my cover would be over £200 less.

Thanks for checking, but doesn't answer my question. Isn't it odd that it doesn't tick EU/worldwide on teh right column even when you select it from the dropdown list?

My old cover was £560.

Renewal came in at £860.

I got Aaduki quote at £460, called them back and they price matched.

Actually that's what mine cost originally and that sounds close to the renewal cost I was given back in March. When I asked them to price match they said they couldn't get near but they were aware that their costs were high and would be looking at it for future.

Based on the instant quote on their site it looks like that have.

I'm not sure, their minimum is UK with 20 days world wide (it not an option).. I assumed the ticks would only appear if you added to that.
