Just been watching old episodes of Eerie Indiana, brought back lots of childhood memories.

What are your favourite childhood programmes and why? Anyone else love Eerie?

Thomas the Tank engine

I can remember my neighbour forcing me to watch this and thinking jeez this is for babies, im 3!

Saying that the memory of Thomas and his friends will never be the same after watching frankie boyles tramadol nights last night.

Thundercats and Transformers, also Nightmare(?) I think it was called. One kid wearing a blindfold/helmet was guided round a dungeon by his friends. Looks so terrible now but at the time I thought it was great.

All three of those programmes were great. How old are you? I remember knightmare was on straight after school, i took it so seriously.

Guardians of Space looks great! Never heard of that before. Don't know about Hoodie and Peewee though :P

Monday - The Why Bird
Friday - They did a big play

Wednesday's were the worst because it was this silly girl puppet who'd dance about with some kids and I just found it extremely boring :p

Oh the Why Bird was the best yeah with her Why Tech machine, remember her pecking at the big keys.

What was the gaming programme on CITV where one of the competitions was a scalextrix race using your phone to control the throttle? It was early 90s - SNES, Megadrive etc iirc.

Bad influence? I do remember this, although not sure about the programme itself.

yeah Monday's were awesome :D

Friday's was called The Tent Stop according to Wiki.

Lizzie was the girl puppet who i couldn't stand.

Ah yeah Fraggle Rock!! I remember being very upset when my video messed up. I think it's still lying around the house somewhere though lol

Erm Tent stop was my second fav...

I remember all of those programmes - because I never did grow out of kids' telly ^__^

If I'm honest, my earliest memories would be Watch With Mother - think Pogles of Pippin Wood, Andy Pandy, Noggin the Nog et al.

Snograt you must be in your 50's? I'm guessing that as my mum used to have nightmares of Andy Pandy and she is 53.
