favourite L4d maps

I have L4D2 and I think have many extra maps and maps from L4D1.

But I never play the game...I played about 3 or 4maps breifly and only completed 2. One ended inside a shopping mall.

Anyway I wasnt keen on the game that much but maybe I just played rubbish maps?

I would recommend playing the l4d maps because they have a better layout and environment then the l4d2 maps, or you could buy l4d and just get a better experience overall.

really? I have L4d2 L4D1 is better? people still play it? I think they included some L4d1 maps in 2?

I think Left for Dead 2 is much better than the first.

As for maps, some of my favourites are third party map packs like I hate mountains and Dead Before Dawn.

All offical L4d1 maps are being ported to L4d2 so far they have added

Mercy Hospital
Dead Air
Blood Harvest
Death Toll

only Crash Course left.

Personally i prefer L4d2 its much more polished and has more choice in weapons. Its also has 4 new types of infected, which make vs much more fun.

I suspect you are talking about the dead center campaign, probably not my favourite.
All the L4D1 maps have been imported to L4D2 now so there are many to choose from. My personal favourites are "No mercy" and "Dark Carnival" (especially the coaster event).

With L4D its all about vs mode. Get some friends together and play as a team, playing solo or with randomers is a nightmare.

I prefer L4D over 2 but they are both great games, No Mercy/Death toll though best maps of the lot!

Yes Vs mode all the way.

Nothing like killing all the survivors just seconds after they leave the safe room

my favorite maps???

1) The Passing, don't understand why this isn't played more its the best by a mile. If only it was longer.

2) Dark Carnival, oh yes run the coaster and use the fire bullets of love.

3) Dead Center, just for the first level

"Charge!!!"

4) Dead Air, No Mercy, Parish

5) others

Lol, more polished, hell no!
L4D feels better to play the animation in l4d2 suck something awful and its so buggy its unbelievable.

Having not played L4D1 and not played for a few months, the introduction of the few "new" maps is nice, i like the airport one, but playing with pugs sucks, way too many people thinking they can solo the entire map, or play on advanced / extreme and melee everything :/
