Mine is ‘The fields of Ard Skellig’ from The Witcher 3 which is one of my favourite games of all time.

Beautiful piece of music and what an amazing combination exploring the isles of Skellige. Truly moving moments in gaming for me.

    • Donkey Kong Country 2: Stickerbush Symphony
    • Final Fantasy IX: You are not alone
    • Super Meat Boy: Battle of Lil' Slugger
    • Castlevania Belmont's Revenge: Can't remember the name of the track, either the opening one or the first level or so, great music.
    • Animal Crossing: Anything from the GameCube, DS and 3DS games.
    • Final Fantasy VII: Cosmo Canyon
    • Wind Waker: Dragon Roost Island
There's plenty more of course but these are some of my all time favourites.

So many great songs that remind me of playing this every time I hear them.

I Wanna Rock - Twisted Sister
Bark At The Moon - Ozzy Osbourne
I Ran (So Far Away) - A Flock Of Seagulls
Run To You - Bryan Adams
Keep On Loving You - Reo Speedwagon
(I Just) Died In Your Arms - Cutting Crew
    Africa - Toto
Kids In America - Kim Wilde
(Keep Feeling) Fascination - The Human League

Without doubt I wanna shine a light by the C90’s in GTA5. It was used in Michaels tripping scene when he’s flying over Los Santos.

I totally agree with the op. First time stepping foot on skellige, and this haunting track starts playing. Magic. I cannot wait to see what they produce for cyber punk.

The entire Final Fantasy 7 and 8 soundtrack (and some of 10), as well as this absolute masterpiece:

Also Gran Turismo 3. What a track list

:edit: also Air Combat. It's so cheesy but that's entirely the point :D

    :edit2: also!

all of Supergiant Games soundtracks are great, Bastion & Transistor are probably the stand outs, If I had to narrow it down though it would probably be the music to ODST.

and a close runner up, Destiny 2 - Journey

Kakariko Village - Ocarina of Time.

There are many more, but I'd say those are my top three at least.

For nostalgia, the original Doom midi tunes. For overall genius, everything from The Last of Us... can't imagine the game without it.
