My all time fav is UT99 too many hours wasted playing instantgib ctf. If it's too modern a title then it would have to be Civilisation, went and bought a sound card just for it! Not old enough you say! C64 Paradroid.

Diddy Kong Racing

I almost broke a controller playing that game! And everyone (should) know how sturdy those N64 controllers were!

Alas, even after all of the soulful, mental and spiritual hurt it put me through, I still put more hours into that game than San Andreas!

pc games that made me say wooooh and stand up halflife 1 and unreal 2 i believe with corridor sequence still most epic moment in gaming
