Singleplayer: HL2
Multiplayer: DOD:S

I've grown to like CS:S but i find it's so much less satisfying than DOD:S and gets boring quickly.

Since HL2 and Dark Messiah have already been mentioned, I'll throw in Sid Meier's Pirates.

It's a great game while it lasts, but I'm not sure about the longevity of it. In my game, I've defeated all the other pirates, found all the treasure and rescued all of my family. Now the majority of ports are English and there doesn't seem to be a lot left to do :(

CS:S, Gmod 10 and The Ship.

Not many play The Ship, but when it's played in a server that is full of human players and with a few friends on ventrilo/teamspeak, it's absolutely helarious and you just laugh at the other players who are filled with paranoia and just randomly lash out.

:D

the ship!! Although i dont know how many people play it when its not a free weekend, im sure if they just found some cruise company to sponsor the game and add a map of there ship on and let people play for free theyd make loads more! because right now im fairly sure not many people are willing to part with the money for it due to a fairly low playing population, except for when its free-by weekend

I'm getting a lot of gameplay from "Making History: The Calm and the Storm", glorified game of Risk that it is. New patch released in the last couple of days to fix most of the problems with AI and allowing all countries to be playable in single-player mode. :)

That is if you don't already have the HL2 collection + mods.

red orchestra, ost front - the thinking man's WW2 fps shooter. Very realistic and very tactical and fun if you get on a good server. Much slower than dod source but immensely more satisfying when done properly.
