Favourites and passwords to a new installation

Guys - if I am about to install all new hardware, how do I go about re-installing my favourites and are web credentials automatically transferred too?

Another question - I have a computer at work that I wish to use at home - can I transfer my favourites and credentials to that even though its a different microsoft account?

Depending on your browser you can export all your bookmakrs to a html file which can then be imported in again later. As for passwords use a password manager like Lastpass, it will save you a ton of headaches. I couldn't cope without it now.

If you use Chrome, Firefox or Brave, you can sync your settings.

I used MOZBACKUP
Backs up Firefox and Thunderbird stuff, so that all my PCs are in sync with each other, but yeah, if you use an account with them, you can sync your info and do it that way instead, and that will also move your info over to a different OS as well...
