Is anyone else having problems accessing HTTPS Facebook under Lion?

Doesn't work over my connection, but does over VPN. No idea what the issue is?

Have tried with Safari 6.0 and Firefox 14.0.1. Both only work if the https mode is disabled under Facebook.

Already tried resetting router, browsers and reinstalled Facebook.

You're not behind a web proxy at Uni or anything are you?

Nope. At home, on O2/Be broadband.

It's not just you....I'm on O2/Be broadband as well and I'm having the same problem connecting to certain websites. BBC News, Facebook, Twitter and the iTunes Store.

I've just called the O2 support line and they've confirmed there is a widespread connectivity issue and there investigating, it’s also effecting connections to many gaming servers as well.

It's been a problem with lots of ISP's this weekend, various sites/services effected.

Looks like there aware of the problem but have no idea on a timescale to fix it!
