FC Twente football stadium from Amsterdam

Does anybody know how to get to the FC Twente football stadium from Amsterdam ?

I am on the Dutch railway site but cannot work out exactly what station to leave from and get to.

Has anyone been before ?

Depends on the station you are in, but you are looking to get to Enschede, there is a train station almost right outside the staduim, the station is called Enschede Drienerlo so you should be able to get a train from what ever station you are in to there. Journey will be around 2 hours or so and will need 1 or 2 change overs i think.

Thanks, if that is the station outside the stadium then getting there is no real issue.

Getting back to Dam after the match is not going to happen. I hope they are putting on a late train. 22:19 is the last train back to Dam from there. That's half an hour before the game ends

Thread resurrection time...

I'm planning to go to the Twente vs. Spurs match in December. I was thinking of spending the weekend in Amsterdam and then heading to Twente on the day of the match (a Tuesday).

Where's the best place to stay after the match? A hotel in Enschede?
