After doing some research, im curious about something.

What do you, community, think I should be getting out of this system FPS wise, from Far Cry 2, 1680x1050 Resolution, Optimal settings (Very High):

AMD Phenom II X2 555 BE 3.2ghz
GTX460 768mb (830|1670|1950|
4GB G.Skill DDR3 Ram

Thanks in advance

See, thats the problem I have.

I often lower to 50's and sometimes 40's aswell, just by looking at a oasis, for instance, and ive got no idea whats the problem.

Drivers updated, everything is fine. Ive been told the CPU isnt a bottleneck either.

just noticed it's the 768mb version , perhaps somebody with a gtx 460 would be better at seeing what is normal fps with this gfx card and fc2

It is but it's graphical detail is still pretty demanding, the slightest hiccup and you get micro-stuttering.

Man the CTD in this game made me cry, NPC's that didn't die, saving progress then it crashes and having to do the whole mission again, respawn guard points after 5 seconds. utter rubbish
