FC3 standard edition Uplay download, how?

Before I start getting annoyed, how do I redeem FC3 standard edition on uplay using an AMD code? I have been on the uplay site and it does not list a standard edition only deluxe and insane editions, if I select deluxe and add the code to the cart it does not say invalid code but does not it say its applied either. I carried on the process entering payment details but obviously don't want to commit without knowing what's next.

Am I being inept or have I just paid for something that does not exist?

It's "The Lost Expeditions" that you need to go for, I believe.

If you got the code from another site, you may have the US edition of the key, in which case you need a friend in the US to activate it. (Or use a VPN).
