FCoE ZoneSet Distribute

Can someone confirm that during a zoneset distribute on a single fabric, should endpoints experience path failures for that side of the fabric? I always had it in my head that zoneset amendments should not cause any interruption to service but I may be wrong?

•Zone changes can be configured nondisruptively. New zones and zone sets can be activated without interrupting traffic on unaffected ports or devices.
