FEAR 1680x1050?

Does anyone know if it is possible to play FEAR at 1680x1050?
Ive seen review sites showing results of various gfx cards at this res but it dosent have this option in the game.
Is there a patch or a change of code available to run the game at this res, fancy playing it through again before FEAR 2 arrives.

apparently you have to do this

'C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Monolith Productions\FEAR' and open a file called settings.cfg and edit it to suit

No need, you just choose that res in the game settings? I only re-installed it recently

Have you chosen the correct aspect ratio? Sometimes that can be the issue.

It only goes up to 1280x960 (not even 1280x1024) in the settings.

Are you fully patched?

I've personally played FEAR at 1600x1200 and 1280x1024 (different monitors) - once again, are you sure that there isn't an option to adjust the aspect ratio?

dammit.. it worked a minute ago..

It's the right link! I've no idea why it doesn't work.. if you go to the WSGF site, type in FEAR in the widescreen wiki search, the adress in the address bar will be the one I bloody well linked!
