FEAR 2 Framerate Issues

Hi All,

I was just wondering if anyone has the same issue as me?...

I have a weird issue with FEAR2. when running around normally it seems as if the framerate is stuck at 30 or so. However, when i zoom in on whichever weapon I have (left shift), it instantly goes stright up to 60. Any ideas why this is?

I've tried with vysnc on and off, no difference.

My PC Specs are:

Intel i7 920
6GB DDR3
ATi 4870x2
Windows Vista x64

Can you try and scope your weapon and see if your FPS increases please?

You have to have Cat. AI off if using Xfire, as it has issues.

Using Xfire?

I've disabled it from the CCC and it seems to run at 60+fps. Cheers for the heads up.
