Fear 2 install issue

Just received Fear 2 about 30mins ago
Insert into computer, follow installation steps, install steam, enter key that has come with game...

You can't beat a hard copy imho. Bad luck fella, not long to wait though.

im getting the same thing got to wait 21 hours until i can play it or even install it

And by the time you are allowed to install/play the game the servers are swamped and crash or you will not be able to connect.

It would be a hard copy - Fear 2 requires Steam even with the retail version - thus it won't unlock the game to run for about another 10 hours or so.

Is there a way to make STEAM think that your in Australia? thus being 11 or 12 hours in front might work.

Did something similar for 2142 when I got that on EA Downloader.

Maybe he doesn't like to have a lot of programs running in the background, likes to have a disc backup, does not want to wait for Steam to allow you to install etc...
