Yup, you heard right. I thoguht the damn developers said it was only on pC and only FEAR 2 would come out on consoles ?!?!?!? This is why people think the PC gaming is dieing out, because the PC now doesn't have much exclusives! HL2, oh tahts on Xbox, Doom 3, same, even far cry! This is why the PC isn't getting *** attention it deserves. I personally don't think FEAR would be any good on the 360, but, I think soon enough, consoles wil rule the markets, soon enough......
 
TBH im not bothered that FPS PC games are coming out on consoles, you have to use a control pad = rubbish (at least for me, i cant use a control pad for FPS games). Also PC games are a lot cheaper, Quake 4 for PC £10 for Consoles £40, TR Legend PC £17.99 for consoles £40, just the last 2 games i purchased but its the same for nearly all games. Just 2 reasons i still like my PC games over console.

I just thought since this was a PC game ported to *** console....... Anyway, its not a PC vs console, or a PC is going to die thread, its just saying that these days, all games are being ported to consoles, but I will stay faithful to the PCgamers :cool: :D :p
 
Consoles section?

Quit slating the PCs, we dont post in the consoles sections saying zomg consoles suck. Yes, the PC isnt exclusive for many games now, but as long as people use it then their will always be stuff released for it. Its also easier to stop creating copied disks on a console, making it preferrred for developers/producers.

FPS games + controller = rubbish

Racing games + console = Arcade

For true FPS games and simulators the PC is still the daddy.

Woah woah dude, you talking to me? Chill man, i'm not slating the PC, I am an avid PC gamer :cool: I am just amazed how much PC games are ported, so EVERYONE I LOVE MY PC AND AM FAITHFUL TO IT No hard feelings eh mate?
 
It's simple really, there's money to be made on console markets and if the game sells well on its original platform such as PC why not then port it and make some more money from the same product? It always happened and always will.

muahahaha, i know that sounded like i was having a go, didnt mean to mate but i had just got up and couldnt be bothered to alter it to make it sound nice :)

I aint anti console as i own a PS2, albeit i dont use it. I do agree that a lot of games are ported, but for me i prefer them ont he PC, if only becasue games like GTA are more customizable. I dont mind the ports, its when games are announced for PC and console then the PC one is cancelled (ghost recon). Also ones liek the new Rainbow Six, been a PC game all the time, but this one was released for the Xbox and then ported ot the PC, spoiling it all together.

I think i got a bit caried away in this post :p

You made the right choice mate :)! PC gaming is the way to go! You are very clsoe to the screen, therefore getting a more immersive experience, and the gfx options are scalable, I find it really fun just seeing how smooth a game runs with AA and AF :p

I know what you mean about FPS on the consoles. I can not play them well with a joypad at all. Though I guess it is due to my upbringing in the games arena. I have a mate who only plays on the X-Box and loves FPS's. He can not play them for toffee on the PC as he doesn't like the controls. he does acknowledge though that the mouse and keyboard is a superior control method. He just can't use it though.

I got my mate used to the mouse and KB by letting him play FEAR :) He is now very used to it, it just takes some practice. Also, I have tried the demo of COD2 on the X360, and I just cannot aim properly, wheras on the PC i'm completely fine :D

You forgot about the other PC FPS game "battlefield 2" This is on the xbox360 now as well..

And prey and Unreal Tournament 2007 is set for release on the xbox360 as well..
