FEAR Crashes.

i have an origional verison of F.E.A.R on DVD, it installs fine, when i go to run the game, the screen goes black and it stops responding, any ideas?

its the sound, if i disable it, it loads fine. :mad:

any ideas on a fix?

in the config thing, if i disable the sound in there it seems to load perfect.

updated drivers and its doing the same thing

what kind of game has issues with codecs!??!?!. i'll try it thanks

well thats **** are there any really good codec packs out there that done have issues? or is it the codecs themselves that the game has a problem with?

Although i need some more RAM, its a bit jumpy
