Hey guys,

Specs as are in my sig...

I find at certain points the game slows down, like judders, when its not suppose too...

Anyone experience anything similar?

I notice although on max settings at 1280 x 1024 my dual core is used 60% and its only uses 1.4gb RAM....

As its not maxing out my system....Why at certain points not always is it sluggish?

All ideas and help would be most apprecited

I bought the game yesterday and I find when I'm inside it's fine but on that first level when you step outside the window and look at the church it slows down to like 1-2fps (I have to look at the floor to get the fps back up so I can move lol) but thats on my rig, which is no where near as powerful as yours,

Athlon 64 3200+
X800XT
2GB RAM

That's at 1280x1024 with 4xaa and most of the options except lights on maximum.

It slows down for everyone to some degree. The only explanation seems to be that the mappers did a poor job.

this is what someone told me......and i really believe its true especially as im using the latest drivers for my equipment, and my cpu, gpu or RAM is not being used 100% .....

just finished it this morning....took all of 24hrs not constant playing tho.....

That could well be the case, do you find other games run fine on your rig?

definately no problems with any other game on max settings at my res...

im talking about games like, oblivion, Splinter cell3, COD2, farcry, hl2, pes6 etc etc...

I'd just put it down to the poor mapping like you said then, maybe a patch or something will come out for the game
