I purchased FEAR today and it seems like a great game. My only problem is that it doesn't seem to be running particularly great.
My spec is in my sig.
First I had everything set to high on a resolution of 1024x768 and it was abit sluggish, and I'd get jerks and pauses when turning sharp corners, firing a weapon for the first time or going in to big gun fights.
Then I tried letting the game itself detect my computer and set the recommended settings but things weren't much better tbh.
I've got the latest graphics card and motherboard drivers. I recently reinstalled Windows and I defragged yesterday.
Any ideas?
