There was a biography/dramatisation of the life of Fanny Cradock over Christmas which I missed.

I heard great things about it but can't find it anywhere on the net. Could anyone point me in the right direction as to whether it's going to be repeated or I can get a recording?

Thanks

it was like watching Barbara Cartland do a cookery programme

its amazing how different modern cookery programmes are

it seems modern food, even though we have access to a lot more ingredients, is actually prepared and served in a more simple way

"Fear of Fanny" - sorry to hijack, but that sounds like a documentary on gay men or something :)

EDIT: or something you'd get after munching on a heifer.

And the award for Most dissapointing thread title 2007 goes to......

Actually I thought it was very good. Scary woman, not a very nice lady at all, still felt sorry for her at the end though :/ No idea where you can get to see it, so I'm not much help. Wouldn't be surprised if it was repeated on one of the freeview channels.

Did the continuity announcer ever actually say after a Fanny Cradock programme "I hope your doughnuts turn out like Fanny's" or is it one of those urban myths?
