Barn owl

All taken with Canon 30D and Bigma Hand held. It was a pain to shoot as there were on the ground and trying not to get stands and water bowls Let alone people in the shots was difficult.
Shot in Raw Converted in RSP with a little levels and saturation only and resized for web

wow! they are fantastic that bigma seems to fair you well i may have to get one at this rate

( allthough still tempted by a 100-400L too but soooooo much more money the missus would kill me twice )
