Anyone tried this, if so how easy is it to install nVidia drivers for either a 6800 Go or a 6600, I am having no luck with Easy Ubuntu, Automatix and manual install with Ubuntu?

Should be a piece of cake, but you might need to dive in and edit your xorg.conf (/etc/X11/xorg.conf) as installing via yum doesn't always modify it correctly.

However, I prefer to download the official nvidia drivers and install that way. If you want to do this, make sure you have your kernel headers available and installed via:
Code:
yum install kernel-devel
or if using an SMP kernel:
Code:
yum install kernel-smp-devel

Thanks, I am having trouble connecting my wireless at the moment but when I have sorted that out I can concentrate on gfx. :)

Wireless on FC5 is renowned to be a bit of a mare but easily sorted.. check out www.fedoraforum.org and search for ndiswrapper, should sort you out :)
I am going to connect the old fashiooned way tonight, with a wire! :p

Then, when I have net access, I should be able to sort things out. I ma quite impressed with Fedora so far, it is very quick and seems to be a very well balanced distro but certainly not as easy as Ubuntu.
