Hi, just a couple of questions about fedora/linux, hopefully easy ones..

Is there any software out there that lets you remote control a linux install from a windows XP machine?

secondly, is there any software that creates an ISO image of an install.

:)

Remote control wise the vnc (virutal networked computer) software is part of fedora you just need to make sure the vncserver service is enabled (check the remote desktop gui thats in FC). Then download realvnc for PC and use that to connect to the linux box.

No idea on the iso front.

depending on whether your going to use gui on the linux box, if so you may want to run, Xvnc so it loads the desktop, otherwise just ssh into the server and work from command line

most oses will have pre-made ISO files which you can burn with programs like nero

Thought he meant an ISO of the install on his machine? I used to use drive image on windows to make a complete system image every now and again (I think this could also back up Linux partitions?), these days it takes so little time to re-install and do updates etc I don't bother.
