Feedback on my portfolio

I like it, good job:) I like the fact it's all one page and you click a link and it moves down to it with new menu bar.

Only one thing that irks me, and it's pretty minor. With your bullets are you able to align the text so that when it wraps on to a new line it is in line with the rest? Could also space between bullets slightly to make them more readable.

I never saw it previously, but really like the state it's in at the moment!

All being on one page is cool in one sense, but it feels a bit weird when I start scrolling and I feel a bit confused about whether I should scroll or hunt for the buttons, probably because I can already see parts of the next section below the one I'm on so I automatically scroll, whereas hitting the buttons creates a smoother experience.

Really sharp though :)

Edit: Also when you click a button it aligns the menu bar for that section at the top of the window, when you click on the last one, the contact one, it leaves half of the previous menu on my screen which overpowers the contact page. Could be fixed by lengthening the bottom but I don't know if that would be a good thing.

Looking good!

One small thing, the game control buttons are currently linked to '#', consider just using onClick so that the scroll position doesn't get affected.

invaders tooltip says zelda deathmatch.

the layout would work on 1024x768 if the tank wasn't so big

Fixed and made the tank smaller.

I think I'll leave it as it is for now.

Done.

Thanks everyone, it's now live :).

Good job mate. Changed a bit since I checked it last I see, going single page has really let your content shine. Also your copywriting is great, well done.

Only bug I found was the Validation link at the bottom. Its going to the testing url and not your main index.html :)

Hey Calneon, I was just browsing around and stumbled across the tumblr home page.

They've got a cool front page, which is simiar to yours in the sense it's got the smooth scrolling once you hit a button, but it's got something extra in that it seems to take control of the scroll bar and hide it initially, only activating it after you hit the banner at the bottom.

This may or may not be useful to your site especially considering as I had the issue where I wasn't sure whether to scroll or just use the buttons. If I was just forced to use the buttons it might make it better.

Anyway, I've not really thought about it, but check it out. http://www.tumblr.com/
