My Rx 7900xt failed after a year and I contacted overclockers via a web ticket and after explaining the issue they sent me a DPD label.

I sent off my faulty graphics card and it was received the next day.

On the same day it was received they sent out a B stock 7900xt and it’s coming today.

This was a brilliant experience and will definitely be continuing to purchase from here again.

was your GPU B-Stock when your first got it?

if you get your 7900xt new there is no way i would take a B-Grade as a replacement unless you got an upgrade.
B-grade is generally sold with a 30% discount and carry's no warranty, your replacement item should be new and come with a new full bank of warranty

BUT on the subject of RMA's ive never had a bad experience with OcUK and this is why all my big buy's are with them.

I brought a B Stock Lian Li A3 Wood edition case from OCuk and the glass side panel for the same case, I couldnt tell the difference from brand new.

but it as like 30days warranty not 5 or 10 years

if his GPU broke in 6 months it would be a full conversation for warranty

It's good that they have replaced the GPU quickly, but ask if the remaining warranty from your original 7900xt can be transferred to the the replacement. (you could have 2 years remaining)

nope.. the new item should carry a new warrant from day zero

There was a big thread on here awhile back about this and I believe OCUK confirmed that if you get a b-stock replacement it does not invalidate the original warranty (at least, not with OCUK).

I’m not sure that is correct. Warranty replaced items will have the remainder of original warranty - they won’t have a ‘brand new’ warranty - unless that’s changed relatively recently.
It may be correct with a brand new replacement, but the OP is getting a B-Grade.

I don’t think it matters whether you get a b grade a new replacement or even just summat they cobbled together with double sided sticky tape - the remainder of the warranty transfers over. At least as far as I understand consumer law

Getting a new warranty doesn't make much sense to me otherwise people would be trying to get their products to die near the end of warranty to get a replacement and repeat to have a forever warranty!
yea, you don't get a new warranty when an item is replaced under warranty. not sure where warburton got that info from

Which manufacturer was the original 7900XT just out of curiosity?
