I've been asked the usual 'what should i get' question again so would like some feedback on the suggestions I am going to give.

Main use is Office 2013 applications and web browsing.
Budget is MAX of £400 but less if possible.

No idea how the new range of AMD APUs compare to the Core i series CPUs.
I was thinking though that nothing is overly processor intensive so they would be better going for more RAM over more powerful CPU?
I know some can be upgraded later but with budget laptops it's a bit of a minefield.

Spec1 £330
Processor AMD E2-1800 (1.7 GHz, 1 MB cache)
Operating system Windows 8
Storage 750 GB HDD
PERFORMANCE RAM 6 GB
Graphics card AMD Radeon HD 7340

Spec2 £399
Processor AMD Quad-Core A4-5000M processor (1.5 GHz, 2 MB cache)
Operating system Windows 8
Storage 1 TB HDD, 5400 rpm
PERFORMANCE RAM 8 GB DDR3
Graphics card Radeon HD 8330
Graphics card memory 3.98 GB

Spec 3 £379
Processor Intel® Core™ i3-2348M (2.3 GHz, 3 MB Cache)
Operating system Windows 8
Storage 750 GB HDD, 5400 rpm
PERFORMANCE RAM 8 GB DDR3

RAM size doesn't matter, 4GB is standard and is enough for your use. just like integrated graphics is. RAM is also probably the component that's the easiest to add/swap.

what I'd be more worried about is the actual manufacturer and model of the laptop, not just what's inside.

out of the 3 i'd choose Intel, but £400 can buy you better than that.

something like Lenovo B590 MBX2VUK or similar.
