I miss them. I miss Feek and his acerbic wit.
In a kind of tribute to his legendary beer tasting threads, I present thee my Friday night relaxation remedy.

I am currently enjoying:
Badger- Golden Glory
' An award-winning premium ale, well balanced with distinctive bitterness and a delicate floral peach and melon aroma. Serve Chilled.
Legend states that the gift of peach blossom brings good fortune to the recipient. It seems to hold true today, as the subtle addition of extract of peach blossom to enhance the floral blend of aromatic and bitter hops has created an outright award-winning ale that is refreshing, charismatic and....absolutley glorious!'
It does smell delicious. Very peachy smell, almost schnapps like. I can see where they get the melon from but it is more peachy. The smell is deceptive though. The first taste is sweet and peachy but not overly so. There is a beautiful crisp bitter aftertaste making this an incredibly refreshing ale to quaff. Best enjoyed on a summers day I imagine.
Wouldn't fancy drinking lots and lots of this. One or two tops. It is getting a bit sickly sweet after half a pint of it. Not bad, but definately a refreshing summer beer as opposed to a session ale. 6.5/10

Just had an innis and gunn myself, before than a bottle of pedigree and before that a nice newcastle brown ale

). I tore off the bottle cap and was greeted with that "old pub" smell. I poured it out into my tankard and it's a little darker than a lot of ales.
