Supposedly his son died 2 weeks ago but he wasn't told as they didn't want to distract him ahead of the African cup of nations. That is bang out of order and a pretty low thing to do. Supposedly his family also witheld the infomation from him which makes it even worse.

No parent should have to bury their own child, my thoughts go out to him and his family. Football means very little when something like this happens and the people who didn't tell him should be ashamed of themselves.

Hmmm , this was debated the other day on my usual Newcastle board and there were a lot of doubts to the real truth of this.
Its a kid he had with a girl up here when he played for us , poor lass is still living in a council house after he left her.

Not nice though , RIP little man.

Whilst a very sorry state of affairs witholding information like that , read Vandle's post.

Everyone assumes he actually cares now he has had his fun and then dumped this girl ?. Spare a thought for the bereaved mother instead of some jumped up footballer with a wandering d**k.
