"Feel good" films

Garden State
Darjeeling Ltd.
Life Aquatic
The Royal Tennenbaums
Band of Brothers (odd I know, but I love it)
Anchorman
Dan In Real Life
Amelié
50 First Dates (gay, I know :p)
Reign Over Me
Team America

Urm. Hmm, that'll do for now I think. There's a few I'm forgetting but I can't be bothered to get up and look, sorry. :p

I just remembered another. I know this might sound weird, but it really is a 'feel good' movie if watched in the right mind-set and understand what it's trying to really say:

Observe and Report. :D

Also, oddly enough, old war films tend to bring a smile to my face. Films such as Where Eagles Dare, and Bridge Over the River Kwai, etc.

What about the original Italian Job? :)

I enjoy it, but it's not one I've ever been too fussed over if I'm honest. Maybe it's because the film entered mainstream culture before I was even born, I never really got to appreciate the film anew.

EDIT:

Just remembered a few more:

Juno
Superbad
Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist.
Titan AE
Wall-E

The shawshank redemption, i remember when it first came out, it wasnt met that well by film critics, but to me its one of the greatest films ever, to see the ordinary man beating the system was brilliant, and he done it with his brain, not like your typical prison action film. And the final scene were red meets andy on the beach when both are free is one of my favourite moments in a film. My second choice is the cafe scene in heat, to finally see the two greatest actors in history, robert de niro and al pacino (my best two anyway) in a scene together.

About a Boy

Great film, don't let hugh grant put you off this film, it's fantastic :)

In America

The best film about 'family' I've ever seen, actually cried in this film!

As aforementioned, Wall-E and Love Actually.

However, I really must add the comedy 'The Girl Next Door', which was way more heartfelt than the trailers might have you believe.
