Anyone remember the Detonator Destroyer Utility to remove NVidia Drivers on Win 98?

I was the original developer and just getting more and more time to do development again.
It had more than 1,000,000 downloads from across the web - anyone use this?

I used to use it a bit back in the day, but I've had absolutely no problem in the last few years just installing a new version of the nVidia drivers straight over the old ones.

Yeah I remember it well. I used to use it pretty frequently. I'd totally forgotten about it till you reminded me though.

What was the idea behind it again? Does the standard nVidia uninstall leave some stuff behind?

I used it a good few times back when I had my GF2 Ti / 440MX / Ti4600. It performed well and fixed a lot of issues ppl had. it's obviously been superceded by DC Pro but nice to know you develpoed it much kudos. anything new in the pipeline let us know

Yep I used it a lot when I switched to nVidia GFX cards

Nice work, solved a lot of my performance / stability issues.

Just getting back into it - been working on some custom firmware for mp3 players (rockbox)

So looking for something new to do!
