Feeling Sick. Affects of Food.

Sugar gives your system a temporary boost from the sharp rise in glucose level and then it drops down just as quick making you feel down. Regarding the soup, depends on what it's ingredients are and if its processed carp.
 
I think he means why does chicken soup, for example, seem much more appetising than say a double chocolate ice cream banana sundae. I agree that it does, but I have no idea why. I guess we just have this preset idea of what is wholesome and good for us. When we're ill, our appetite would be for something to help us feel better.
 
Not sure why, but I found if I'm nauseous or have been throwing up, chicken fried rice seems to settle my stomach
