I wear Crocs at work, but I'm aware my uniform makes me look a ****, so just went for the comfiest footwear available. I'd never even think about Crocs outside work!

I'm hairily-toed and proud. Flip-flop it up man!

If you're really self-conscious, have a look at the New Balance MT20 trainer. I've got a pair for running, but it's so comfortable and cool (temperature, not look) that they get worn out and about as well.
