I don't know if it has reached the UK yet but I've just caught the end of Fergie's(Black Eyed Peas) new video - London Bridge. To use a cliche it was like watching a train wreck, I have no idea what it was about but the horror was too much to turn away from. As a euphemism "My London Bridge, London Bridge wanna' go down" doesn't even make sense  I'm really hoping that someone can explain something about it so that I never have to watch it again and try to understand it. What on earth were her record company thinking?

Here is a link on Youtube for those who want to try and figure it out.

Roughly translates as 'I want to be Gwen Stefani in Hollaback Girl.'

Ok thanks for the interpretation, it still makes no sense but nevermind at least I know I'm not the only one who doesn't understand it properly. The funny thing is that I quite like Gwen Stefani's music but I can't see myself ever coming to terms with what Fergie releases.

Just been on Urban Dictionary and shes singing about being a dirty ****.

You know, I was fine just thinking it was nonsense and I could have gone quite happily through my life without knowing that but I suppose I did ask for it. :o

Mind you if your teenage daughter listens to songs and is that influenced by them I'd say you have bigger problems than Fergie singing. Arguably it isn't even that bad or that graphic in comparison to some songs around, the original of Khia's - My Neck, My Back was much more explicit for instance.
