I'm not really sure what they're hoping to achieve with this, other than to add some momentum for a more general push towards change from the current regulations or more specifically to look at what larger wheels could lead to. Or simply to distract from the current car.

yeah what is with that helmet, how often are drivers looking straight ahead, most of the time they have their heads turned towards the next corner or car they are overtaking. I think a fighter plane type of canopy would be a much cleaner solution, rather than trying to merge the helmet with body work for aero gains.

It looks to me like it was designed by an artist not an engineer so it will totally look awesome; whether it's in any sense practical, I have no idea.

Disney Cars meet Formula 1. Not convinced in the slightest.

Also, I have to laugh at the current idea of 1,000 bhp cars and so on, the season after two teams have gone by the wayside, and Lotus, Sauber and Force India are hardly stable. 'Cause races with 5 teams would be great.

Blended nose and body is a bit silly, even a low impact shunt and you're out of the race. The helmet is also silly and too limiting, cockpit would be more appropriate. Nice bit of fun though
