Feser one & dye OK?

I recently cleaned out my loop and refilled it with some feser one, rather than the usual deionised water.

The fluid is clear but apparently will light up blue when under UV light.

I was thinking I may add a bit of colour to my case, I don't want lights poking out of everywhere so I thought maybe adding a dye to the fluid would be OK.

I thought red would be fine as I can already see the red LEDs from my sound card, mobo and RAM.

The questions are:

Can I add dye such as this:

To my fluid even though feser say not to mix it with anything else?

Will adding more colour react with the UV stuff that is in there?

Do I need to spend £3 on a dy bomb like that or will 20p on food colouring do the job just fine?

Will the red look pink?

I wouldn't add dye to feser one, but I would love to know how adding red goes. Red by daylight, purple by night wouldn't be my thing but something like yellow in the day and green at night would be lovely.

I very much doubt it would corrode copper, though it might provoke aluminium. Get the dye, add it to some feser in a glass beaker and leave it for a few days?

A little red would look pink. A lot of red would look opaque. Keep adding it until happy :)

If you're brave enough to try this, a lot of people would be interested in the results :)

I was thinking about adding some out side of my loop, I have a tiny little bit left.

Will add a dye bomb to my cart next time I order from OcUK I think, playing about never hurt anyone....

i recently used a dye bomb, today while upgrading i noticed that the RED i had been seeing was just a stain on the clear tubing i will never use it again, just imagine what it has done to my blocks.

for me now its going to be coloured tubing and clear fluid.
