Friend of mine went last year and came back with 3 main gripes... Firstly, it took them (iirc) 3 hours to get past the security checks and into the camp site. They were checking everyone for alcohol and drugs. Second gripe was that, because of the checks, drugs were quite literally just lying all over the ground outside the campsite. That should definitely not have happened. And the third gripe was the alcohol bannage in the camp site.Che said:Oh, I didn't camp so didn't experience that bit. What was wrong with it?
lol as fun as that sounds, I agree, it really shouldn't have happened Glad I didn't go camping last year!Otacon said:Friend of mine went last year and came back with 3 main gripes... Could you imagine if they tried that at Reading? It believe that fact wasn't advertised either, and everyone had to leave beer in their cars. The second morning most of the camping folks just mooched out to their cars and got leathered. Pointless rule really.

The lineup doesn't appeal to me too much at the moment, but there's still loads more bands to be added ("heavily rumoured" include Radiohead, Sigur Rós, and Flaming Lips), and for me, a festival is more about the atmosphere than the bands involved. Beaches, beer, bands, babes, what more could you ask for from a summer festie?
