Fetching to pieces has commenced :o

Its only 3 belts ;) Hardly rocket science lol. Anyway, i'm not bothering taking the intake off any more, I just cant be arsed, let it leak I say.

And take it all apart again when it gets worse. Cool.

Lol - Agreed, if your gonna do a job do it properly at least.

So what's the exact story about this car? I remember 6 years ago when i first joined OCUK and this was your dads car.

Is it yours now and have you ever driven it?

Fetching the plenum off is an even bigger job than the cambelt, the leak is only minor, it will take a long time to get worse. If I want to do it some time down the line, it doesn't involve even touching anything i've done allready, so i'm hard;y 'fetching it all apart again when it gets worse'.

Thanks, such a relief when it started up, 3rd time mind, the bloody useless battery was dead, wouldn't even start with a jump I was slightly concerned.

Running sweet as a nut now though, better than before I reckon, seems to rev up quicker now. Maybe something to do with the intercooler hose I found that was not clipped on when i fetched the splash guards off.

Glad you like it, its a bit weak if you ask me. I will post again when I have the single exit system straight through turbos-back, then it will sound alltogether more serious ;)

Please dont ruin the classic styling of the 300ZX with its twin exhuast by removing it and fitting a stupid drainpipe.
