Few Adium questions.

I've switched over to Adium after using Messenger Mac for as long as i can remember and have one little question.

How do I configure Adium to sign me in appearing offline?

Anything else I should know being a new user?

Right click on the adium icon in the dock, goto status>invisible.

Yeah sorted them all, still got one problem.

I have 3 groups, online, offline and other contacts. I have never added or changed any groups but when people come online they go into my other contacts group instead of the online group.

Does anyone know how to delete the other contacts group and get my contacts to appear in the online group?

View>hide groups

Have you tried dragging those contacts into the online group?

The only way (I know of) to sign in as invisible is to make sure your status was set to invisible when you signed off the previous time. Do you actually want to view offline contacts at all? If not click on Adium, goto View > click on Hide Offline Contacts.

Hiding contact groups would work.
