that charger would be awesome if it wasnt a bag of rot. Why spend all that money painting over the rust instead of fixing it?

He might have treated it and just painted over it then, its harder to put it back the way it was, takes a bit of skill really. Could be a temporary repair, in the past Ive smeared petroleum jelly over rust patches till I had time to fix it, looks a mess but doesnt get any worse

It is indeed a '68. The '69 differed in that it has a divider bar in the centre of the grille, different rear lights and different side indicators. I prefer the look of the '68 myself (but I'll always have a soft spot for any '69 that's painted Hemi orange, with 10 spoke Vectors, a confederate flag painted on the roof and the number '01' on the doors ). I think I know that black one, and if it is the one I'm thinking of then the rot isn't structural (good ol' Mopar unibody construction). It's also a bloody quick car

I preffer the later models myself. Especially ones with the petrol refiller under *** rear numberplate. The cap wrecks the otherewise great lines of the car.
