Been out and about a little recently, went to Minsmere in suffolk last Saturday and the Sunday I managed to find a few swans, got lots of "standard" pictures but as the light diminished I managed to get close to the cygnets riding around on their parents back, and watched for a while as they preened/snuggled, took me ages to wait until they put their heads together lol.
I really struggled to get sharp shots, the combination of having to get DOF to get everything sharp + having to crank the ISO right up whilst getting stung to death only added to it lol.
Few late evening shots from Minsmere, I got a lot of shots of the Marsh Harriers, but there was too much haze in the air and everything is flat and blurry..
