The composition in the last one isn't very good. Read up on the rule of thirds. I quite like no 3 though.

I like the selective colouring, but I think a crop would work better.

like number 3 the best, good composure

numbers 1 & 2 are a bit boring, the subject is too hidden and is more in the background, the shots are very busy with all those branches getting in the way which is distracting, also the composure isnt great

no 4 is good, composure could be a bit better, get rid of the road on the right it looks out of place, not keen on selective colour shots though

1 and 2 went through Photomatix Pro dunno if that made it worse... thanks for the comments I am still learning and like as much C&C as poss

Copy layer, desaturate the top layer then draw round and delete the items you want in colour from the top layer.

Or theres selective colouring, but i dont do that way so dont know how

might try some selective colouring on that one actually. Anyhoo, the rest just look like snapshots with no real composition to me
