few general questions - new pc

just got my new pc, along with a few questions as follows

1. 8800 GTS asus - what the temp should be like == idle and on games?

2. E6600 - idle and non idle temp?

3. the gfx card, i installed the drivers that came with the CD, are there any newer drivers i should download?

no oc, everything on stock, and what is the best software to check out the temp's.

i will probably have a few more questions i will add to this thread

You should always download the newest driver from nvidia.com because new drivers are coming out every month / couple of months nowadays (well for ATI anyway).

To check the temperature for the CPU the Coretemp is probably the most accurate programme. You can monitor GPU temp from the Nvidia driver utilities.
