I'm planning to grab another 980ti for SLI.

It will be a different aftermarket cooler as well as my Zotac AMP!, any glaring heat issues?

What 1155 Motherboard would support this? My card in sig(3 slot I think)and a dual slot 980ti if all goes well.

Would an EVGA Supernova 850w G2 be fine for everything?

I'm running at 4K, sorry forgot to say.
Thanks.

I ran a 3slot and a dual slot card in a Gigabyte, z77 UDH5 for a while, theres space for the 3 slot card in either position, the PSU should be ok as im using it to run my system in sig, as for the heat issue i cant help as i have no experience with air cooling.

The problem that you have is finding a decent Z77 board now as you are pretty much going to be restricted to what comes up second hand. I would sell the card you have now and get a 1080 instead.

yeah just had a gander, finding one was.. difficult even on a popular place.

Thing is though, the 1080 doesn't look like a huge leap in performance from my 980ti, ill get back less if i buy the 1080 and sell my card though.

If you are set on SLI then the only real option that's left is a platform change to socket 1150 and with a 6600k costing the best part of £200 and a decent Z170 motherboard that supports SLI coming in at around £120 that's a lot of money on top of another 980ti.

Another thing to consider is that if your siggy is correct then you have the locked 3570 which will probably bottleneck a pair of 980ti's.

People need to factor in any possible future upgrades, even if it's not wanted at the time when buying a motherboard. I know things look different in hindsight but if you bought a good Z77 board in the first place then you wouldn't be in this position now.

The problem is that he can't find a good Z77 SLI capable motherboard. A locked 3570 will bottleneck a pair of 980ti's. To what extent I am not sure, but it definately will bottleneck them.
