Hello,
I recently have finished upgrading my system and now have the following spec:
-i3 530
-4GB DDR3 1600Mhz Corsair RAM
-Radeon 5770 XFX XXX Edition
-720W Atrix PSU
-Coolmaster 335 Elite Case
-500GB SATA II Hard Drive
-MSI H55M-E33 Motherboard
On an older system I had a Q6600 CPU, which ran extremely hot and little overclocking was able. This i3 runs at about 26 idle, 49 under load.
I have read in various places regarding the overclocking, however am unsure about the RAM links and ratios involved. I simply set the FSB from 'Auto' to 'Max FSB' in the BIOS and below is the result. I have run this in Prime and max temp was 57 so I believe I can push it a little further and am seeking advice to do so.
Additionally the 5770 I have overclocked to 925/1370 which runs at 48 idle (35% fan) and 75 under max load (52% fan). Should this be ok?
Regards
