few people killed near my home

1. someone dumped a body in a nearby park
2. someone killed two girls and their heads were found in woolwich market
3. someone shot someone in their house...
4. someone i know, his house has been broken into and he is in hospital...

damn why do people feel the need to kill others? what sort of world do we live in.
