Hey fellas,

Went on a meet to Chester Zoo with another forum, but there were about 7 OcUK'ers there.......here are my pics. I've left a bit of a delay on posting so that they didnt all end up here at the same time, and also cos it's been a bit hectic recently...

jamiemoles has got it spot on, it's a Red Panda, or as it is often called, a Firefox

I finally got to put a face to the little red fur ball running around the world in my title bar

When were you there? I went on Saturday and am surprised you got good shots with so much netting and fences about! I was really disappointed how obvious the fences were but a bit spoilt I suppose having just come back from Florida (Animal Kingdom)

We launched him over the fences so he could get the shots

it was last saturday, 30th september

Having a nice long lens helps with the fences a lot, the last bird shot was through a fence for example.

Very good photo's, number 13 along with the red panda and tiger ones for me

I had wondered what animal the red pandas were for a while but finally found out the zoo in central park, not something I'd expected to learn in New York.
