Ok so my Belkin router is packing up now, sometimes the Internet just freezes up and I have to restart my Router for it to kick in again, this is really starting to annoy me now, plus the fact all I can get on Xbox Live and other places is a "Moderate" NAT, I was looking at getting this router as it's cheap and is listed as an Xbox Live Compatible Router on the xbox.com site, does anyone have this Router and Xbox Live? could they possibly run the XBL Connection Test and tell me if there NAT is Open? also, I have about a 5/7 year old Cable Modem, from Blueyonder at the time, i've heard the new Virgin Media cable Modems are very good, shall I upgrade, and is it as simple as asking them for a new Modem? anyway Many Thanks to whoever answers these questions :)

Or can anyone recommend any Wired and Wireless combined Routers that work perfectly with Xbox Live, with an Open NAT also? Many Thanks again ;) :p

I know the Linksys WRT54GS-UK works with X-Box live. Thats about all i can recommend. I find it a very stable wireless router and am more than pleased with it. I like linksys and find them great. Belkin however, are a big steaming pile of excrement.

If you have a SB3100 modem then upgrade, if not then it's not worth it, all the 4x00/5 series and webstars will support 20mbit+. I've used live on my Linksys without problems, closest hardware available today is the WRT54GL but I do run DDWRT or Tomato depending on what's plugged in at the time.
