Hey guys.

Im getting an xbox 360 wired pad tommorow, especially for gt legends :)

Are these xbox 360 pads the same as the older xbox pads, do they have the triggers at the back of them?

Also, ive heard these wired pads already come with a converter so you can plug and play in your pc?

Thanks

Just download the driver from MS, and remember to calibrate the gamepad first or some of the keys wont work in some games. Also, in some games the vibration does not work...e.g. NFS Most Wanted. But other then that, it is a cracking controller.

Im thinking of getting one also, but what games is it good for? I play gta, BF2, oblivion, Need for Speed etc.

Hmm, GTA definetly, oblivion not really, but maybe. Need for speed definetly.

Although, i dont know if these pads are 100% functional with these games.

Could you use a wireless pad with the play and charge cable?

No, as the Play + Charge is not a data cable as such, it is just used to charge the pad, that's it. The pad when charging still works wirelessly, but is being charged when it does.

Just another question.

What color do these pads come in?

Thanks

Creme/Whitey colough. Look at picture of one, that's the only colour the come in.

Is there a specific driver for the 360 pads to work? Sounds like they're a bit hit n miss....

You just need to download the MS drivers from ms.com

I was surprised at how nice it was to use(played pgr, although I'm not a fan of the steering on that game).

The back triggers are pressure sensitive which is nice.

no, use the xbcd drivers instead. having control over the deadzones makes such a difference to games.
