Few questions before ordering new system

Im 99% sure this will be my next purchase.

After researching the forums for far to long I was going to do the following:

Change cooler to Corsair H50
Change optical drive to Sony Optiarc AD-7240S
Change case to Antec 1200
Change psu to Corsair 850W ( will most probs purchase another 5870 )

The last thing I was unsure of was whether to purchase the Samsung F3 1TB or to purchase 2x 500GB versions in raid0. Im not to sure what difference this will make to the machines performance if any. Price is roughly the same for both options, if anyone can let me know of the pros/cons of what to do with the hard drive situation it would be much appreciated.

Any other comments on the setup would be most welcome.
Machine will be mostly used for gaming.

Should be a good system. You will be getting OCUK to make the changes, right?

I would suggest not running RAID0 as your boot drive. I did, and If I was going to do it again I wouldn't. RAID0 is a bit faster in windows when moving big files, but it has some definite down sides - mainly that booting takes longer and if one drive of the two fails you loose all your data from both.

If you want a really quick boot drive, get an SSD. An intel X-25M or OCX vertex would be amazing, but expensive.

Yeah OCUK will make those changes. So from a gamers pov running 2 hds in raid0 will not benefit me over a single larger one?
