Hey all past couple of weeks i've been researching components for a new rig to replace my current 4 year old rig consisting of AMD 2500+ CPU, 1GB of RAM 200GB HD space and a 9800pro
I've opted to upgrade to the following components
Intel Core 2 Duo E6300
Gigabyte GA-965P-DS4
G.Skill 2GB DDR2 NR PC2-6400 (2x1GB) CAS5 Dual Channel Kit
2x Samsung SpinPoint T HD400LJ 400GB SATA-II 8MB Cache
Tuniq Tower 120 CPU Cooler
Now from the above you can probably guess i am going to overclock this as most have done.
I currently have a Enermax Noisetaker 420W power supply is this sufficient to run it stable with an overclock?
I also currently have the first version of the Antec Sonata Case will the Tuniq Tower cooler fit in there i've seen pictures and that thing is huge.
And now for the graphics card i cant decide which one either Radeon X1950 pro, the X1950 XT or the X1900XT the X1950 pro is the cheapest out of the 3 but do the other offer a significant performance increase for the extra cash.
So anything you think i should change from what i've chosen.
